New Landscape Makes a Yard Feel New Again

Have A Nonnative Tree? 3 Reasons To Get Professional Removal

A nonnative tree can work well as long as a homeowner is willing to put in the time and effort to keep it healthy. However, you may have a nonnative tree in your backyard that requires more effort than the native trees on your property. A smart option is to remove the tree with professional help because it will provide several benefits and alleviate concerns.

Debris Cleanup

Both native and nonnative trees can make a mess. However, you may find that your nonnative tree demands extensive debris cleanup due to health problems. The temperature may get hot or cold enough to affect the tree negatively, resulting in leaves falling off excessively.

A nonnative tree that creates excessive debris may also struggle to add much beauty to your backyard. So, you will find it worth removing to replace it with a native tree that is more attractive and easier to keep clean.

Disease Risk

Another concern with nonnative trees is the risk of disease. While native trees are susceptible to diseases, you may worry more about your nonnative tree becoming diseased due to non-ideal growth conditions. Since your climate might already make it challenging for the tree to stay healthy, you may find it harder to bounce back from a disease and make a full recovery.

Dying trees can spread disease to healthy trees nearby. Instead of worrying about the tree coming down with a disease, you can get professional removal.

Growth

Beautiful backyards often have a collection of healthy trees throughout the space. Your nonnative tree may not be growing as quickly, healthily, or vibrantly as your native trees. Abnormal growth can also happen, which worsens the problem and reduces attractiveness.

A non-healthy, sick, or dying tree will not provide desirable backyard visuals. A considerable advantage of working with professionals is that they can plan out tree planting at the same time. For instance, tree experts will know what trees can grow in the exact location.

This is an important part of the process because you want to avoid planting anything that will grow too tall or too wide and cause problems for nearby structures or trees.

While you may like the idea of having certain nonnative trees that are easy to maintain, you might have a problematic one in your backyard. Hiring tree service professionals for removal is worthwhile because they can handle the removal and plant a new one.

About Me

New Landscape Makes a Yard Feel New Again

Hi. My name is Martha. My husband Leo and I are empty nesters. The last of our three kids moved out of the home about eight years ago. Since that time, we have talked a great deal about retirement and what we wanted to do with our house. The house is slightly too large for just the two of us, but we already have two grandchildren and from the way our kids talk, we are in for plenty more. We have decided to stay in our home since it has plenty of room for our family to come and stay with us from time to time. The one thing we really wanted to change is the backyard. Leo retired last year, and I’ll be retiring in about six months. We are already talking with the landscape contractor, and I’m excited to share some of our plans with you!
